Clear my way before me

We live about 8-12 minutes from the mission home, depending on the traffic. I think I pretty much hold my breath the entire time we travel, going or coming! Narrow roads, pedestrians, motorcycles, and no traffic order, just chaos, especially at intersections! Oh, and a stop sign (which are very few and far between) means “slow down” but you can keep going!

If we go to the store there are 2 roundabouts that we have to go through that are CRAZY!! The Zambians have a thing with roundabouts! They are everywhere, including in parking lots!!

I was reminded of a scripture in 2 Nephi 3:33 that reads, “O Lord, wilt thou encircle me around in the robe of thy righteousness! O Lord, wilt thou make a way for mine escape before mine enemies! Wilt thou make my path straight before me! Wilt thou not place a stumbling block in my way—but that thou wouldst clear my way before me, and hedge not up my way, but the ways of mine enemy.

Can I just ask to be encircled by his protection and the path to be straight? Just clear the way before us!

We really don't care for the beggars in the street! We wonder how they don't get hit by the cars or especially the big semi-trucks that go passed them. We see mothers kneeling in the street with babies with them too.
